Ok Guys im still looking for some nice pics of attending cars to use for the posters

at the moment im after some shots that are on this kind of angle

front on and down low or similar angles in hi-res

i cant seem to get any decent pics of the minginator yet, not any that i can really use, i tried the AuFlacon.com site but still couldnt get what i wanted

so if ANYONE knows where/or has some nice shots let me know

Pete,

These are all from aufalcno.com. I should add it doesnt have to be an AU either, can be any Ford. Probably the more we get on there the better.

Im also havnig trouble with these Hillis logos, Ill get them to yuo ASAP.

they are on a good angle but those pics are too small and it makes them hard to use when the doors/bonnet open and other stuff around them.
the top one would be perfect if it was just the car

Pete another option is to meet me at Hillis Ford and I'll take some digital pics for yuo. I can arrange to have a car moved around etc to take the right kind of pics of it.

I think I’ve found a slight problem for people coming from Melbourne.

I’ve just checked the AMI website and it appears that the AMI Nationals, formally known as the Holden Vs Ford expo is on the same weekend in Melbourne.
I can’t believe these two bloody shows are on at the same time. : :

Round Eight - Melbourne
Melbourne Convention &
Exhibition Centre
Southbank
October 29th - 30th 2005

Danny,

yeap we found this out a few days after we settled on the date, really unfortunate timing but its at the point now where we can't really change our date, and obviously they cant either.
To be honest I agree with Minge in that this weekend will be a FAR better event than the FVH show (Im biased I know), in that ours is specifically for Fords, based mainly around FFAU members, and will involve a lot more than just walking thru looking at cars.

I know it will be a hard decision for some people, and thats ok, but as i said, the Wagga weekend will be a far better option. And the more people we get up here, the better it will be.

Please note there has been a CHANGE OF DATE for the Wagga show.

The date for this show is now Saturday, November 5th 2005. This is the weekend AFTER the originally planned date.

Apologies for any inconvenice this may cause, but due to our event clashing with others, it had to be done.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

FRI: Nothing planned.
SAT: Day of show.
SUN: Possible Cruise in the morning before everybody leaves to head home.

The format of the show will remain the same, the only detail that has changed is the date.

Street Fords Magazine will be in attendance and covering the show.
FordXR6Turbo.com will also have a display.

Default Wagga here we come

Hi Guys

Just a quick note to say that I'm organising our members (FordXR6Turbo.com) for the Ford day at Wagga.

When we get some numbers I will add them to your list.
Probably arrange our own accomodation but would like to join the rest for the cruise and dinner.

Any question send me a pm.

Regards

What the !!!!. Date has changed? Such short notice too, not sure I can change my appointments : I'm kidding, i'm still be there. Just gotta get a half day on the Friday to get to wagga early enough to still wash the car.

Good job Austin on what you have done so far. Lets hope everyone else gives you full support by still turning up.

On that point. What I am looking at arranging is time for all those displaying to come to Hillis Ford and use their facilities to wash their cars. There are some large high pressure hoses, numerous chamois etc.. Are people interested in this? It may cost a small amount, maybe $5-10 or so, but it might make it easier.

Failing that, there are 2 24 hour Carlovers sites in Wagga. Both very easy to find.

Dont worry, it WILL be happening! Details will be announced a little closer to the date, but we have a couple of options which I will be chasing opinions on over the next month or so

Maybe we can co-ordinate guys come from Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong etc etc etc and meet at the Yass Service Centre on the Friday afternoon/evening. I'm keen on that.
