unfortunatley i didnt take any photo's when i did it, it was a real ***** of a job too, because the extractors barely give you enough room to get your fingers up the side of the box.

The trans linkage used is the c4 one that comes with the shifter, but its been bent outwards a bit, and cut the lever off it extend it slightly and weld it back on.
The cable bracket i made bolts onto two of the rear pan bolts on the FMX and has another plate coming off at around 90 degrees on the left hand side where the cable goes through.

I'm looking for someone who has gone down this track and fitted a B&M shifter to their EB2. I currently own a very tidy EB2 XR8 and have been thinking about upgrading the shifter to a B&M. Is there anyone out there with some good pics and advise?

Let us know how you go. All avenues I have checked out have come up a no go. It's our gearboxes that are an issue. Not compatible with the shifter kits.

Thanks for your input guys. As far as I have learned so far B&M make an additional kit for fords with an AOD four speed transmission $148NZD. I think, yet I have to confirm that is what we call the BTR here down under. Because the 5L MPEFI V8 is American, I can only assume so is the transmission thus it must be the 4 speed Automatic Over Drive they call AOD. I'll keep you posted on my research.

hey mate the BTR is an aussie 4sp different to AOD/E
you would need to make your own cable bracket to suit the BTR auto there wont be anything off the shelf
