Default Help wanted: Throttle adjustment on '05 Duratec HE Mondeo

Just had to change a PCV hose on my "financial controllers" Mondeo (involved removing complete inlet manifold) and noticed that her throttle cable has quite a lot of play in it (i.e. pedal moves 1 -2cm before it starts to move the cable) which would account for her saying it lacks power on hills, etc.

My question is - how do you adjust the cable? I have a Haines manual but it only shows the V6 set up.

Many thanks in advance.
