have a look at the charts again .. dont worry about the graph on the rhs .

Swannys Car had more it in - as you can see on the Dyno it dipped at 4,400 thats as his tyres were slipping on the Dyno

See Here - this is his 173.5 rwkw run

Bigger numbers to come once his Car has been run in - when it hit the Dyno it had less than 300klms on the engine rebuild

Same engine Rebuild as my car - stock rods, stock crank, re-used the cast pistons - block just honed - basically new bearings, rings, oil pump......

Wish i could find that 13 second video of his old car, and ppl thought he used NOS :togo: :

The same dyno that i have run my el on 2 times now and had similar results even with different cams and heads

I know the reason that i havn't had great improvements on my car as in it is over fueling big time and the head ecu are best suited to gas not ulp

oh and i should say this my EL is running the cam out of the above mentioned car as well as the ecu the only difference is that i am only running a 3.7 lsd ( not 4.11 ) and it is not on gas ( LPG )

when i get it on gas it will hit the dyno again and it will have a J3 chip in it that has been tuned properly

as for the bonnet not being opened on the day it was not on happy gas I was there and it didnt put out anysounds ect that would point to happy gas

the reason it got slower was the fact that it was slowly killing the auto

can't wait to show some that the set up swanny does is good as you can get but that wont happen for thetime being as i dont have the $$$$$ to spend on the gas ( LPG) side of things

Same Dyno when we had the Dyno Day and some boosted Members Attended for the Fun

Also Dyno Dynamics was out during the week Calibrating said Dyno to make sure the readings it was putting out was Correct.

I have to fix my Cat, enlarge the restricter in my exhaust to 2 half inch instead of 2 quarter inch and add the CAI and I will be pretty much up there with the Highest RWKW for an AUTO Eseries NA 6cyl

yep but a stock rebuild will get ya about the 160 mark .... there is a few things ya can do to the block to help out and make 2 or 3 more but thats only if the person knows it .

if ya go a ACL race rebuilt kit and a bore out then ya should jump to the 175 - 180 mark.... once again it depends on who builds it ....
I see on another site like this there is motors built by the owners or there M8s and they are flat out trying to get 150 with a ACL rebuild and all there other fancy stuff .

Guessing RWKW

Dyno Proven is where its at

I saw a guy with an EL XR6 rebuild and he only pulled 140rwkw mark - that was with ACL Race Pistons

Im not doubting it, just need to get all the cars on the same dyno, lol!!

My EL read low, but felt quicker, and beat cars that had more power on there piece of paper. Thats the way Id rather it I think.

How are you guys getting such high readings?
I had my car dyno'd at Dalton by Matt and only made 129rwkw.
Im guessing most of you guys are using BBM and with slightly meaner cams but thats a pretty big difference.

The Contributing Factor to all High Readings is the Swanny's (Trick XD's) WPN Heads

MR_4.0 + Sorted + Trick XD all have these Heads

Sorted + Trick XD have freshly built Stock Rebuild Bottom Ends - thats same Cast Pistons, Same Rods, Same Crank, Same Block - Basically New Rings and Bearings and only honed - no increase in cc's or cubes

In my Case my Pistons, Rods, Crank and Block are over 300,000klms old

Stock Bottom End Rebuild in my case did Sweet FA to rwkw's as I had 156.9 before and now I have 161.1 - thats on same Dyno

Will be good to see how all your readings compare if you make it to the HPF dyno day, as you all have pretty high power readings with automatics.

Dont worry mate, I just had my ute tuned at bluepower and got 128rwkw after the tune, started with 114. So I was still pretty happy with the result.

Will need to get the head done eventually though.

Well I am trying to find a set of pacemakers but no where here in town has them . . looks like it will be a ebay job .

I will be hoping to have a different set of extractors and a different air intake
So I hope I get better power .

has anyone tried out the inlet manifold spacers/insulators?
I think you can get one that goes against the head, and one that goes in the middle of the upper and lower sections.
Would be a good idea I think.

way better than the 4499's i have now. but will require slight retune. will alter engine vacuum at higher revs.

My Car and MR-4.0's car have AUTO plus Hi Stalls but Trick_XD's car is a manual - so if we change our Auto's to Manuals My Car and MR_4.0's would be up there with Trick_XD's rwkw

The Dalton Dyno was calibrated by Dyno Dynamics the same week we did the recent runs.

Previous Run i did was 156.9rwkw and without the Head it was 137.5rwkw

So with mine it went
137.5rwkw
156.9rwkw Head and J3 Chip Tune
161.1rwkw Rebuilt Stock Bottom End, Head and J3 Cip Tune

Now the 137.5rwkw although from a stock bottom end I had

Pacemaker 4480's HPC Coated
3" Magnaflow Cat
2.5" Red Back Cat Back System
Custom Clive Cam
Auto with Hi Stall

When my engine was pulled apart it was very clean and didnt really need to be rebuilt - as can be seen by the dyno readings from before and after the rebuild.

Only had the engine rebuilt as it was out of the car anyway getting the cam guides and cam chain replaced

So to summarise so called high readings on my auto car was from an Stock bottom end that had been well maintained.

But yeah we will see what Happens at HPF
