Default spanner light on dash?????

gday guys i just noticed tonite wile driving theres a little spanner light were the kms is on my ef im not sure wat it means i just had the car tuned and did the oil myself saturday the oil is spot on full not over i used mobil sinthetic s 10w 40w for memory would this affect it in any way

im imagining the light is trying to tell me there something wrong with the motor? :

oh also got a crow cam fitted friday : but the car has been running fine with it no dramas and have done 200kms on it and this light has not come up

anyone no's wat it is or how to fix the problem plz let me know cheers

means the car thinks it needs a service. Std thing every 10,000kms.

Turn the car off, press in the odo reset button and hold. Then turn the keys to accessories and continue to hold the reset button in till the spanner goes away.

just the service warning light... "tells you when to service the beast" nothing to wory about.

Turn ignition on and keep your finger on odometer button until it goes.

Doesnt anyone check their glovebox manual? Even my G/F does that when a new light she hasnt seen before shows up.

i didnt get a manual when i brought my car

It means you left a spanner in the engine bay when you did the service. :P
