Default Speeduino - Arduino based engine management system

Good afternoon all,

Come across a 'DIY' engine management system based on the Arduino platform called 'Speeduino' - that's home grown here in Australia.

Appears to offer basic engine management functions at a pretty low price (Assembled Speeduino board is $160 + Arduino cost) compared to the common aftermarket solutions on the market, it's aimed more towards the hands on DIY crowd.

The v0.4 variation appears to provide 4 injector and 4 ignition outputs, could be used on an 8 cylinder engine for an EFI conversion set up as wasted spark ignition and semi sequential multi point injection (injectors paired).

Quote:
The v0.4 boards includes the following features:

4 injector channels
4 Ignition outputs
Fully protected input channels for CLT, IAT, TPS and O2
Optional VR conditioner mount on crank and cam inputs
4 medium current spare outputs (Eg Fuel pump, thermo fan etc)
MAP sensor included is the 1.5 Bar boost (0-250kPa) MPX4250
Proto area with multiple analog inputs, flex sensor input and digital IO broken out
Has anyone used this before? Looks like a great cheap and simple solution for people converting older cars to EFI, perfect for our crowd here with project cars.

Advertised as 'open source' as well, uses tuner studio as per Megasquirt.

Notice that they're working on a version with 8 injection and 8 ignition outputs, things like OE connectors (Delphi) etc:

Could be a winner for anyone whose keen on getting their hands dirty or enjoys tinkering with electronics.
