Default Almost stalling issue in 09 Fiesta

Howdy everyone,

My partners 09 Zetec Fiesta does something very odd... sometimes when you come up to a complete stop it sometimes feels like it is going to stall... it never has.... yet, but just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Hers is manual and has about 85k KMS on it... Just had service, new air filter and always ran on 98 fuel.

Any help would be great!

Cheers.

Does it happen when you first start the engine up and drive off ? the german fiestas had an issue were if you didn't warm up the car, it would tend to bunny hop/ feel like it's stalling. The cure to it is to warm your car up for 2 minutes and it shouldn't do that )

If its already warm and doing that, could also be a dirty throttle body... Mine had that, would nearly stall in the same situation, in the end it usually would stall though. Clean throttle body and a new air filter sorted it.

Still does it, but haven’t really tried to rectify it. It’s our run around car now so she isn’t used all the time...
