I doubt it, Someone has gone to a huge effort to make it look like the...Eg the FPV seats, all the custom blue trimmings, the GT body kit. I just dont think ford would of realeased a Cobra in an 6cly.

Ditch the old man sun visor and id probably say it looks sweet!

pffft, i'ld thought an E-series owners club would know this stuff. lol @ thinking itwas gen.

The "genuine" cobra was a one off for Edsel b ford (second), hence the EBF11 plate. Mearly just a center peice for his vist to australia.

The other cars are the EA 351 GT proto, and the EB falcon Indy pace car, A modified XR8. used SVo parts and had about 205kws. Another 2 were used for Auscar/nascar.

the "Xr6 cobra" has been around for sale for ages. Just a GT kit with XrGT bar and cobra paint.

Since when does being a member of a car club mean that you are knowlegable about every single special car built. Thats why we join clubs, to learn.

This post was made by a member not the club and makes it no less relevant than anything else you will see in any of the hundreds of car club forums.

It's on display at the Ford Discovery Centre. On the topic of it being originally red, it still has a red engine bay. On my "history of the Falcon GT" video it shows photos of it when it had been thought to have been destroyed. It looked exactly the same then as it does now. It was later found somewhere around the Ford factory, so was restored.

i actually like the original EBGT and the blue one with 351-GT down the side of the doors looks horn but that mock up is only overdone by the visors front and rear and the fact its auto, Yuck!

whack a 5 speed and get rid of the visors and it'd look tuff imo

the orig post that looks like hes selling its a Fairmont Ghia by the looks of it.

How much was he asking for it Sorted?

well although it doesnt float every1s boat i think that the vehicle in the original post is very unique and the person who created it should be recognised for their good work. i.e they havent just put altezzas n a scorcher bar (nothing wrong with the scorcher kit) but they have gone to extreme lengths to create an absolute one of a kind and it was done tastefully. i believe they are a true enthuisist

I like it - its outside the box of factory

Slap a Turbo on it and then its "EPIC" or "FTW"

Or if a Friend of the poster owned it then he and all his mates would think its "Mint"

Oh wait i forgot put steelies on it then it would be "Mad as"
