Walkinshaw were not involved in the retro VE's, it is all HDT.

Walkinshaw Modify Commodore's, mainly HSV's with all manner of things, superchargers, exhausts and body mods.

The VE Walkinshaw bulge can be made functional, letting radiator hot air out...

Thanks mate, learn something every day - HDT are the culprits then.

That looks terrible, have a look at the front edges of bulge and then have a look at the same with the bonnet. They are completely different designs and shapes. In fact the whole thing doesn't work with the bonnet/body shape.

Best ever looking Commodore bulge:

The VN is horn. Never a better looking Holden will be produced.

Proof:

See, horn.

i really like that extra small bonnet on top of the other one.............but it would look even better if it had ANOTHER one on top of that, but slightly smaller again with stubbie holders molded into that for velocity stacks with one chev badge next to each stubbie for extra coolness..........extra dyno power because of the coolness

I think it looks like some sort of birth deformity. Someone needs to send a good plastic surgeon over HDT way.

This, The ute we had at work was nice, the bulge suited it. Not a fan of the HSV bodykit though, and stupid hardtop setup.

So what exactly is the reason you have socks stuffed down your undies then?

In relation to the Buldge:

LOL could it possibly be because this is whats underneath it?

http://www.walkinshawperformance.com...ews.asp?ID=330

Maybe try and run it at a set of lights? I am sure the driver of it, will wait as you adjust your um...socks....

Looking at those pics takes me back to the days when every 20 something halfwit with a panel val put an after market scope on them. Most were Fords and most of them were your daddies, cause you dont bother knock when those buckets of bolts were rockin.

My 2 cents - the walkinshaw bonnet scopes look ridiculous. However the HSV scoops are a must have.

Hrmmm...personally, I think it would look better without the 'sock' down the front...whatever happened to the 'sleeper' look...why must everything have bolt on bits? :(

Just like all the XR6T's that get this same bonnet?

Or is that a different because there fords too..?

IMO the Walky bonnet bulge looks mean.. as long as its on the right car.

If an SV6 or something had one that would be a different story.
