Hey there james I will be bringing along some of the post's that we had nade for the all for day, but I will be asking if people could take a bag with them in their car just to reduce the wait in the trailer as the buggers are realy heavy.
And I will also have the other stands in the trailer aswell, so you wont have to worry about loading yours up if you dont want to.
Cheers
Stretch

Hi Scott, not a bad day and some really nice cars on display. Got a bit windburn but apart from that it was a great day with heaps of money being raised for Camp Quality - If anyone is going to Dubbo for the 24th - remember it is the start of the school holidays so I would book your accommodation asap. Details on the time and meeting for the Saturday run up to Dubbo can be found on the events forum.

Ciao - James

Thumbs down

Quite trip on the way home - did not see any boys in blue - quite dangerours I thought on the way up with them hiding behind the bushes and then jumping out at you. Stretch had to veer from the far lane accross and then we had to put on our brakes. If they are going to do the job safely then they should have two lots out there - one to operate the camera and one further down the road to pull up the guilty car. By the By - Stretch did not get booked, just looked guilty.

On the way home, stopped in at Maitland, and then went home via Putty :Reverend: .

Inbetween maitland and Singleton,
i had a paddy wagon come up behind me fast.

Albiet i was a tad moving.

Infront from no where appeared a Merc Silver T, saw some dash mountings up front and something flashing in the rear window, the thing had reverse sensors, which threw me.

it sped up, slowed down, sped up, slowed down. Continually, trying to ghode me into overtaking. I sat there. He then sped right up, and the paddy wagon overtook both of us.....

He then sped off, and i followed (just sat back), then the copper T pulled over and let me go past, so i hit the cruise control for 10km's below the speed limit, and give him a polite :the_finge.....

He gave up, and shot off, so i followed, hanging back, get into Singleton, and both car and paddy wagon pull up, and watch me drive past, looking annoyed.

Not impressed with the things in blue, i can tell you......

It was a great day except for the chilly wind. As the sun got higher the heat picked up and offset the chill factor a little. I think over 300 cars turned out for the event. Ill get final figures that is getting donated and post it up. Thanks for supporting the day and hope to see you there next year.

Does anybody have an accurate idea of what cars won the awards? I know best club display was our club but I only remember that for obvious reasons, otherwise I was having a chat and missed most of the awards.

Im proud of the turnout our club put on. Out of a club of somewhere around 50 cars we had around 25-30 GT's ranging from the xr to the eb and some cobras and a John Goss special thrown in.

Hey guys,

I was there at the show with my nissan. I was in the "pack of rice" which some of you overtook us on the freeway on the way up. However my car only has mags and lowered (and no, its not a lancer/mirage) but I was told to enter it into the show anyway because it raised money for charity. Some very nice cars there I must say. Good work guys!

Hi Rob 0 - nothing wrong with the occasional rice dish - good to see a great range of cars at the show and it was for a good cause - Camp Quality. Thanks for turning up -
