Default fte.ford.com.au web site circa November 2001 - lives!

G'day folks.

Given that you're in the FTE family, I thought you may be interested in what I'm up to.

I've managed to scrape together a reasonable amount of content from www.archive.org and have been busy rebuilding the FTE site to as close to the original design and functionality as I am able.

I'm a T-series owner and some sections of the site have only the content that I have been hording since I purchased my TE50 back in 2001 - which means that those sections are basically empty for the Cougar. Most notably, the download section where the wallpapers are and the image gallery in the (as yet missing) cougar gallery.

Still, there's some interesting images still available...

So it's likely to be a frustrating experience, but feel free to check it out and I'll be sure to repost on here once the site is complete.

You can see the work in progress at;
http://www.eccosoftware.com.au/FTE/fte.htm

I'm trying to indicate which sections of the site I've finished with with shading on the front page...you'll get the idea.

If anyone has a stash of FTE images on their hard drives then I'd be keen to hear from you - especially if they still have their original names like;
Cougar_scoop_1024x768.jpg
Cougar_front_foil_1024x768.jpg
etc

Al.

Those pics are perfect!

So now I have all of the images for the Eiback image gallery. There are two other galleries.

One is the non-Eiback gallery with these images missing;
image_gallery_driving_left_rear_1024x768
image_gallery_two_cars_wheel_closeup_1024x768
image_gallery_driving_left_front_1024x768
image_gallery_driving_rear_1024x768
image_gallery_driving_right_side_1024x768
image_gallery_driving_head_on_1024x768
image_gallery_driving_right_side_1024x768

The other is on the main FTE downloads page along with some T-series pics. Images have FTE logos in one corner and names like;

cougar_1024x768.jpg
full_screen_crops_1024x768.gif
full_screen_crops_1024x768_2.gif
full_screen_crops_1024x768_3.gif
full_screen_crops_1024x768_4.gif
full_screen_crops_1024x768_01.gif
full_screen_crops_1024x768_02.gif

fingers crossed!

Just letting you know that I'm still pluggin away at the site.

I just stumbled across this archived page which I'd say was from after FTE had been shelved and the Cougar's were then available via the standard Ford web site (as FPV were focussing solely on the Falcon).

This epic continues - though I'm sure you've all long ago lost interest. Sorry for taking so long. Have a baby now, makes it harder

I've found some more media that will help make this a more complete reproduction when I'm done. A taster...and they are pretty cool floor mats too!

Some images have turned up on the interwebs that have allowed me to complete the Cougar section of the merchandise.
