It's quite simple really. She's like an AU Falcon.

Some think it's the best looking car ever made.
Some think it's the ugliest car ever made.

Very few are "ho hum" about it's looks.

She's just one of those people who has a polarising appearance, and guys will either love her or hate her.

She's ok. Not ugly but not the best either. I don't get guys who say she is super hot. Must have low standards.

She has the ability to be cute and not so cute, if you google image her it all depends on the hairdo.

Seems a bit backwards judging a commercial by the appearance of the girl presenting it...
She'd probably look at most of us and think "not with a ten foot pole"

See ... the advertising is working ... there's a thread about it.
Seems she is doing OK with her acting roles as well. Good on her.

Seems like Ford got stuck with the ugly friend.

She lost me the second she called a ute a truck (I know it's scripted) and her looks didn't save her either. Ford could do better.

No one is attractive to everyone.

Anyhow, I reckon most of us would be punching well above our weight with her.
But then I do assume everyone on the internet looks like this.

G'day...thanks... She's okay but the ads are all the bloody same.
Literally boring...they don't grab you...no real substance.. cheap and nasty..
Holden ads , not much different these days...and even the Toyota girl's ads have the same 'sameness' about them these days too..
What happened to a bit of good old fashioned Aussie flair , comedy and fun
as has been remembered fondly in this thread and others..
C'mon Ford Australia , give us something that makes us laugh or makes us excited to have a closer look at an actual Ford vehicle...
Isn't that's what advertising is all about in the first place..or are we misguided.
One of the very best Aussie ads of all time was this one for Yellow Pages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2N4EFwXQaM
Maybe it should be "Not happy Ford" instead.. ..Cheers Rod..

G'day , With respect...I disagree to a big degree ..For those of us who are thinking of buying a new car , why not market the actual car as a priority.. Then tell us ways and options to buy it..Used to work pretty well in the halcyon days..Why not now on mainstream media ? If it was working so well somehow I don't think Ngaire Dawn Fair would be mentioned so often and polarize people as she does.. Surely our mindset hasn't changed that much that the car is a secondary factor in the ads . Cheers Rod..

Personally dont get how the those toyota ads are even considered good.

The rolla ad is laugh.....the couple want a car with lots of tech so her response is it has 6 speakers....wow....the future is here. I guess you have to make it seem exciting when your car has sfa to offer the customer.

Everything you need to know is just a click away these days, a 30 second ad isn't going to waste time making that clear when it's assumed by most.

actually, to be fair to her, she doesn't write the ads, so its not all her fault, but her acting career isn't going to take off on the back of the Ford work she does.

Speaking of car ads done by females... The Toyota chick is right at the top.

She is an attractive enough lady but thats not the point, its been way to long and they ad's are flat if you ask me. Again, thats not totally her fault.

Id take her out for a burger and chips in that orange Mustang of hers. She could do with a little more curves like the car. (again she is pretty).

I like the clever but simple series of "write off " ads Toyota do these days .

Doesn't target a particular Toyota product but all they do is plant the seed to look for any excuse to buy a new car .

I like the friendly girl next door Toyota girl too .

Ford's Mustang ads were classic funny too , almost as famous as the car here and there but this one is for the Ranger a fair while back

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZzPeRmPrNY

Very funny even now . Found this little compilation of newer Ford stuff too

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp2D9hRCqbs ...

If Ford emplyed the chick with the spider on her dash in the Toyota ad's to do their ad's, id be glued to the TV.

Chicks in activewear* are hot!

*(disclaimer..only applies to chicks in activewear who actually look like they are active, not the size 24's with low thread count..)

No-one's talking about the Focus advertising. Perhaps with the pending release of the Mk IV we'll finally see something (anything) to try and sell them. Oh, I like Ngaire.

How about just let the car do the talking? If the product is good enough, then there is no need for some over-dressed girly.
