Default Vale Robin Williams

It appears that being a funny man can only last so long. Robin was found dead with death due to Suicide by Asphyxia.

In 1978, whilst sitting in my car having lunch, my radio was tuned to ABC. How, I don't know but they played 20 minutes of a skit entitled "Reality, what a concept". It was the first time I had ever heard the "F" word broadcast and piddled my self laughing.

Two little jokes have always stuck in my mind from that show -

You ever wondered what chairs think about all day, woops here comes another "A" hole

Now I do for you a native New York impression, a New York echo - "Hello", "shut de "F" up"

I have never in my enjoyed the comedy of any one as much as him.

Cheers Vincenzo

RIP Genie. It is not often I comment when an actor dies but Robbin Williams was one of my favourites. Can almost name every movie he has been in because I have seen most. But standouts are Alladdin (after more than 20yrs I still don't tire of it) Good will hunting and Mrs doubtfire. They are my favs could rattle off so many more.

For me the favourites are "Dead poet society" and "Goooooooooood Morning Vietnam" and lets not forget the voice of Ramone, the Peurto Rican Penguin.

Isn't it strange that someone's death / departure makes us all think of something humourous / funny / happy!

He was such a talented man. He had such a quick wit that he could turn the simplest remark by someone into something hilarious. A truly great comedian that will be sadly missed.

Seen a few of his movies .. but the best and most underrated was "August Rush". If you haven't seen it .. just get it. I guarantee you will be crying with happiness at the end.

Rest in Peace Robin .. you will be missed by everyone.
