They certainly will, as long as you've installed the DivX codec. Easiest way to do this is to head to http://www.divx.com/divx/download/ , enter your email address there (only if you're interested in receiving emails about future developments of DivX, otherwise untick the "Yes, I would like to receive notices of new DivX versions and other DivX news" box), select your operating system from the possible choices, then click the big download button.

Once you've installed the DivX software, you can view DivX encoded content in any media player you might have installed on your system.
