Some really nice coupes in there the wallnut glow XA had good plates if it was a Torana. What is it about wild violet XA with white interior? Every time I see one I start to drool.

If you a whole day to spare (and I mean a day), you should paint the silver onto the grill. It really does set them off, sort of the finishing touch. That's a gorgeous coupe, the XAs I think are the nicest car Ford has made.

20 years ago when I painted the grille black that was the go, but now I have to agree after looking at yours it would look better with the silver, A day you say. Did you paint the grille silver then do the black?

That would have been the smart thing to do but instead I decided to make it as difficult as humanly possible by masking all the black then spray painting the silver. Ugh! Cutting out tiny triangles of masking tape to go in tiny spots was not a lot of fun. I would suggest if you have kids then maybe give them 2 rolls of masking tape and get to it or no Nintendo.

Lucky I wasn't working there, they'd be lucky to build 6 cars a year!

He is a couple more coupes I had , green XAGT was the first car I put 15x12 & 352x35x15 rear Tyres on this was my daily driver, had heaps of fun in that car , The Cobra I bought of a ford Dealer because they didn't want an old car in there yard it was about 1990, Paid 5000 for it.

Yes I regret selling both.

Cobra was 302 manual, can't remember the number, 15x12 have a 5" back space & 2" thick centre, have the same size on current yellow coupe.

Just some pics of my coupe. Own it since 2002, Rebuilt it in 06 and now just drive it everywhere. 393 stroker, top loader, 9" and enough power to have a little fun until the governor kicks in .
