The new PK Ranger showcases an all-new front end design, which delivers a fresh, modern exterior, along with interior upgrades, key feature additions and a revised model line-up.

Model line-up

* The 2009 PK Ranger introduces the following new models to the line-up:

XL Hi-Rider Crew Cab Chassis 3.0L Auto
XLT Hi-Rider Crew Cab Pick-up 3.0L Man/Auto

Exterior design

* All-new front end design that incorporates 'kinetic' design cues, while at the same time building on Ranger's 'tough truck' credentials:
o New design headlights
o New design three-bar grille
o New front bumper
o New design bonnet with power bulge
o New design fog lamp bezel (XLT and Wildtrak)
o New design 16-inch alloy wheels (XLT)
o New design front fenders
o New front fender grille with integrated side turn indicator and Ranger nomenclature
o New design overfender flares with integrated mud flaps (4x2 Hi-Rider and 4x4)
o New design rear tail lamp assembly
o New design tailgate cladding incorporating Ranger nomenclature (XLT and Wildtrak)
o All-new, top-of-the-range Wildtrak model

Interior design

* Key interior upgrades:
o Side airbags standard on XLT and Wildtrak models
o Cruise control standard on XLT and Wildtrak (available as an optional accessory on XL models)
o Addition of an auxiliary input for iPod/MP3 players across the range
o New interior seat trim fabrics
o Alcantara leather interior for Wildtrak
o New amber illumination across the range

Introduction of Wildtrak
Wildtrak is the new hero model within the Ranger line-up, featuring unique exterior and interior equipment over and above the XLT specification level
