Ford Releases Good Oil on Courier Diesel

Ford Australia has dramatically improved the value of its Courier 4x2 turbo-diesel light commercial vehicle range.

Ford Australia President Tom Gorman announced the new pricing strategy at the Melbourne International Motor Show this morning.

The Courier 4x2 turbo-diesel Cab Chassis GL is available for a recommended retail price of $20,970*^ – a reduction of $7185– while the Courier 4x2 turbo-diesel Crew Cab is now priced at $28,410*, representing a drop of $5460.

"This is a deal sure to put a smile on the face of tradesmen around the country," said

Mr Gorman.

"Courier is already a favourite with its mix of rugged styling, reliable performance and excellent durability.

"This new offer is sure to make the powerful, but economical, turbo-diesel version an even better value proposition, and provide a fantastic alternative to four-cylinder petrol models," Mr Gorman said.

The Courier range now consists of two powertrains – the 2.5-litre turbo-diesel and 4.0-litre V6 petrol – with the 2.6-litre in-line four petrol engine removed from the line-up as it does not meet new Euro III emission levels.

* Excluding dealer delivery or statutory charges
^ Price does not include air-conditioning
