I've been impressed with Toyos, in my case they're 205 55 16's though. Super quiet (compared to the Goodyears). I'd imagine they'd be even quieter in the size you're after, with the higher profile and lesser width.

What did they cost you ? That tyre size would fit my TDCI which is also needing tyres in teh next month or two.

From memory, it was around $175 a corner. That was for Teo Plus, a good touring tyre, rather than a performance tyre.
Here's a link where we were discussing some tyre options for someone... http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11316573 Last edited by In Focus; 06-03-2011 at 09:36 PM. |

I had toyo teo's on last time. They're better than the standard goodyears. Ive now got bridgestone turanza er300's. I reckon they are better than the toyos, seem to have more wet/dry grip and quieter, plus $155 each fitted/balanced.

Well I bought 4 Toyo Teo for $172 each and they seem ok and have dropped the average fuel consumption too.
However my TDCI is due soon and I like your comments on the Turanza. I sold my fiesta 2 years ago and it had polish Turnazas on which were very grippy and when I sold it at 70000 still had life. Are the Turanzas made in Japan? |
