Default It worth buying 6R80 for transplant parts into 6HP26

Would like to know is worth buying 6R80 transmission and transfer part into worn out 2008 TTG 6HP26 as my high performance Turbo Territory cant handle 6HP26 tranny anymore as got someone selling 6R80 cheap and thinking of buying and get rebuilt

My understanding they are very different transmissions, but some 6R80 parts can be used.

Ive read about it being done with XR6 Turbos

But you need to talk to a Transmission place as this is not backyard Mechanic stuff

Ford turbos AWD Territory most of the parts will fit into 6hp26 as 6R80 gas bigger oil pump and better input shaft and other bits, Will ask transmission mob
