Default Pinto engine RPM range?

Does anyone know how many rpm i can safely do in a escort with a mild 2lt pinto?

In my 2L cortina the redline was listed as 6,200 for a manual, so I used to my hold my auto out to that all the time, engine never missed a beat.

just bought a 2l pinto with worked cam if that means anythin.how do they go compared to the original 1.3

They don't really compare to a 1.3L, major difference!!!
My RS2000 get's revved to 8500rpm on a regular basis and has never
had any issues.
