Have you had a look underneath the car to see if any oil is dripping.

How clean is the engine bay?

Do you notice any excessive blue smoke spewing out the exhaust? You should do if you're using that amount of oil. Either that or a frikkin huge oil leak puddle under your car.

A couple of thoughts-
How many k's since it has had the oil and filter changed?
What are the characteristics of the white smoke? Does it only do it when cold or at odd times? How much?
I ask this because at your k's and the symptoms of losing both oil and water with white smoke you may have a head gasket leak...What is the colour of the oil and coolant like?

Firstly, can you remove your oil filler cap and dipstick and see if there is any milky white gunk or residue on either of them?

If its any help I have seen an AU using a lot of oil and the cause was the PCV had lost its guts and the oil was getting sucked into the intake manifold. I might be wrong but it is easy to check and cheap to fix. Cheers.

Well - your engine is either burning it, or it's leaking out somewhere. Or someone is stealing it. Unlikely (hurrr)

If it is burning it, it could be your rings, valve stem seals or the above mentioned PCV valve. Can't be anything else but those three. Given the mileage your car has done I would have thought the rings should not be stuffed yet but I don't know what sort of life your car has had or has at the moment. Same with the valve stem seals.

If it is leaking it, which you do not think it is, it means a seal or gasket is shot.

You will need to have a compression test done. But first I would check that PCV valve first. Buy a new one from Repco and put it on and see how it goes, if it is still gobbling through oil then you've definitely got an internal problem. Process of elimination.
