Default FOCUS XR5 Turbo Pricing

FORD Have just announced the pricing $35990 plus on road cost. That is unreal. Only problem will be getting enough of them. Ohh and DSC will be standard.

I can see this car outselling the VolksWagen Golf GTi at that price.

It surely is true. The options are $2000 for Recaro Leather seats, $300 for standard metallic paint & $1800 for the Electric orange Paint as seen @ the motor show.

PS. You will also find the 2 different territory Turbo models @ the mms. 1 of which is a Ghia Turbo which will have a black XR type leather seats, dual Exhaust outlets and 245kw & 480 nm XR6T engine. 18" Wheels & performance brake package. Only in AWD. Ford have certainly done their home work here.

Cool, DSC is standard (was told it would be an option!). Guess all I have to do is get my ИИИИ in some Recaro's and see if they're for me.

For anyone having trouble choosing a colour due to Ford AU hardly even knowing whats available with their own cars, here's a quick colour chart I threw together last night to help me decide what I was going to get. I think everything except the dark grey and white model is available (colours taken from the UK website).

Awesome value...What a bargain.

The only downer in comparison to the Golf is no 6 Speed DSG. Having driven many Golfs I can say that is an awesome tranny. Faster {straight line},smoother and more ecomomical that the Manual.

What a bargain. Ill take one for a test drive when they are released just to see what its like. Why is that electric orange a 1800 dollar option thiers nothing that special about it.

Great price, and should be a great car. The Volvo engine is a beauty, Mr CSV8!

It convinced Clarkson and even though he's losing the plot a little these days, he's still pretty close to the mark and definitely picky enough to listen to. Demand will surely outstrip supply with these things.

Good looking ugly as hell wheels and FWD.

Arg give it AWD I would rather wrestle the suspension around corners than wrestle the steering wheel at take offs.

But a bargin by all means for this type of car.

Yes it is going to be a bargain. And it will be one of those cars where the waiting list may stretch 6-12months.
