That is awsome. I wonder how much fuel that would have used just in that 2min period.

120 gallons/ 454 Litres of diesel per run. So much for getting 1000km out of a single tank of diesel.

I saw one like this - only one engine though at Willobank Raceway in the early nineties. I cant remember its name - Blue Thunder maybe?

Was really noisy and had the flames coming out the stacks the whole way down the 1/4 mile. Can't remeber the ET but it was really quick and had trouble pulling up.

Russell's is a magic little machine, he fired it up last Saturday before everyone arrived and had a couple of passes on it.

Can't Yanks watch anything without all the screaming and yelling? :

I remember the Walting Matilda dragster from the early 1980s. Didn't it crash and the driver was killed?

absoutle madness even the misses loved it .

i remember waltzing matilda from the 80's at calder that was crazy for those days .
it was built by re-car ,from memory it did smash but i think the driver lived with burns ,might be wrong. it was rebuilt and shown for a few more years after that.
wonder what happened to it.
