You have to remove the whole center finish panel to fix this prob. Just have to replace the globe behind the button, but it's getting to the button that is a pain...

Same problem, with the regular a/c button.

The high level works fine. Sometimes I can get the regular control to work after running at the higher level for a while.

It's only a 10min job max to remove the cfp , providing your radio comes out no worries ! ..lol

When i first went to replace mine with a blue led the button wouldn't even stay pushed in / the light was working though when i held the button in. When i removed the cfp, i found that the globe wasn't fully twisted into its mount, when i twisted it back in fully the button stayed in when i pushed it in again no worries / but i ripped it out again after than anyway to replace it with a 3mm blue led .

Just something worth checking though for those who think their air-con button might be broken / thats if it won't stay pushed in .

As far as the light not working for it , as mentioned above its probably just the globe behind it blown.
cheers.
