Default another Italian cruise liner in strife

poor buggers cant take a trick.....same company as the one that took the shortcut and hit the rocks

fire in the generator room this time apparently!.....cant get to the passengers and crew for 3 days.....no power nor lights in the middle of the ocean until rescue!

I'd want me a massive pile of clean undies if I was on there!

I fail to see how a fire in the generator room is the captains fault.

Working in the travel industry over the years when 1 bad thing happens to a said company more things follow

A ship has reached the Costa thats drifting and is going to try and fix the problem.
Fires on cruise ships are common its just they dont make the newspaper as they dont damage anything but whats in the engine rooms ect and 90% of the time the guest dont know

Cant really blame the captain for this one, ship looks kinda old and old stuff breaks, ya get that.
Sounds like all the right protocols were followed and every one on board is safe,
