AU 3 XR-8 remote problem

hi guys

it's been a while!


Our AU3 220kw XR-8, has been bipping with the blinkers flashing in the middle of the night(it was like pressing the lock button on the remote twice) it did it every 10-15 min, i ended up removing the battery from the remote,we also noticed that the remote sometimes doesn't work at all.

has anyone had this problem, is it just a simple battery change or is the bipping something more serious.
