I use a semi-synthetic aswell..
When I change over to Penrite Sin, it is fully synthetic, but its the sort of oil you put in for a daily driver. Even though my car is a daily, it dosent get driven like a daily.

Well, i think i am going to go for the Penrite HPR15 oil. Its readily available in a 5 Litre bottle, but for the life of me i couldnt find a 1 Litre bottle anywhere! I must admit, i only went to three places this morning, but none of them had the small bottle. Does anyone know where i can get it from at all?

You shouldn't need a 1 litre bottle. The 5L is all you'll need for an oil change. If you are really worried, just buy 2 5l ones, and use the remaining in the second one next time, along with a new 5L one next time.

I have always only put 5L in mine (had a few e-series as well) but had to have my mechanic service my car due to the warranty and he said it was still a little low, never had a problem in the past but went home and put an extra half litre in nonetheless. Bought another 5L bottle, handy to keep in the car anyhow for top ups etc
