Any point upgrading series 1 rears to BA rears?

As per the topic title, I'm doing a BA brake conversion onto my series 1 AU. is there much advantage doing the rears as well? are the pads much bigger on BA's?

im lookn at doing the same and it looks like BF/XR & BF FAIRMONTGHIA have a bigger rear pad in them otherwise all au's and ba's etc run the same pad...thats lookn at the bendix web site

If You Are Upgrading Front Disks On A Series 1 Would Like To Know How The Front Was Done . I Have Heard It Can Be Difficult Unless You Have A Series 3

the BF XR8 and territory use a big 328mm ventilated rotor.
They will fit onto a AU but you will need to space the caliper out with a washer for it all to fit up.
we have sold a few of these kits now and also fitted them up to our wagon we built early this year

so sedan calipers and rotors will fit on a wgn yeah with a spacer..does your kits come with spacers??

to fit them to a wagon you will need a different backing plate. this rotates the caliper so it doesnt foul on the shocker. we can supply the complete kit to acheive this. send us a email and i will price it up for you.

A lot of people have stuffed around with trying to copy our kits, to save only a few dollars. we have put the time into working out these kits so you dont have any down time. you just bolt it on and off you go.

I bought some BA lower control arms, will use a whiteline adjustable swaybar and links and some BA uprights. I'm also trying to sort freight on some BA calipers and rotors.

Thanks for the info, it seems there is no point getting the BA rears

no point putting BA rears on. more hassle than they are worth.
it is worth the hassle to put the BF XR ones on as they are huge!
