Default self serve wreckers

hi just wondering if anyone knows of any self serve type wreckers in newcastle,

A couple of hours more driving, if coming from tamworth theres pick and payless at i think forge street blactown, western sydney have wandered through there a couple of times they do have a lot of stuff old and new, they sit on 5 acres, a couple off dollars to get in, hope its a bit of help for ya.

Not that I know of. The one I used to go to closed up early this year. What part are you chasing?

I know a couple here in Newy that don't mind taking you out the back, just not by yourself...

Not a tru self serve like pick and payless mentioned above, but the wreckers at Lake Munmorah next to the shell servo are prob a bit too far south for you, but every time I have been there they just point to the section you want and you go for it. Having said that I was only after interior parts. I found the same at a wreckers at Raymond Terrace. I told them what I wanted and they pointed me in the direction and off I went.

Can I ask why you specifically want self serve?

what ever you do, dont go to Best Price auto wreckers in wyong, absolute knobs - was quoted a price on a part, re-confirmed the price, went and spent an hour getting said part off, went to pay and hey what do you know its now double the price

thanks guys, was just going on a weekend trip to newcastle and thought was im there ill wander around and look at parts i could use, basicly just after a few interior bits, misilanious bolts and a few engin parts, i kno a good bloke around town that has alot of parts so i think ill b right though, thanks for the help guys
