Default Au series 2 Xr6 vct, Air leaking ?

Hey All,
Friend of mine has a series 2 Au Xr6 Vct,
And when ever the car is running you can hear air leaking quite
Loudly also runs very sluggish since this air problem has started someone suggested replace the small plastic F piece under the throttle body done that and still no good its around under the throttle body area you can hear it,
Any help is greatly appreciated.

My only suggestion would be to use about a meter of garden hose or similar with one end at your ear and the other end searching the engine bay to attempt to find the source of the noise. Search around all of the vacuum lines around the intake manifold and hopefully you will find the source of the leak.

Check & tighten your intake manifold bolts, you may find some loose?

yep,I agree,its also quiet common to suck the mani gasket in as well.
it will idle terribly as well....
