Hi guys... What's the status with the South African Fairmont GT's?
I heard a rumour that they are now judged as genuine GT's at the nationals. Is this correct? just curious, as I am contemplating acquiring a super-rhino. cheers

They are judged in their own class now, but still not with other XW/XY models. So they are judged, not as an associate vehicle, but as a South African GT ;)

rumours can be misinterpreted, and spread fairly quickly, when not put into correct context. cheers

I understand it varies by club whether they are accepted as full membership or associate vehicles. After all they did leave the Ford Aust factory as a GT
