Default Man and Machine

Did anyone besides me just watch Man & Machine on Go?

The last segment the guy got to go for a drive in a mint XA GT Coupe. Seems it slipped through with the full house Phase 4 motor fitted to it. The guy who owns it now knew the original owner and used to service it for him. He reckoned the bloke didn't know what he had....clearly the new owner did.

Great show, the host Glen runs G&D Performance in Dandenong (or he used to) and was previously a site sponsor of this forum.

Great show, he gets to see some rare car collections and then gets to drive some awesome muscle cars. He's a real car guy and has a real passion for our Australian muscle.

These are a rerun.
"Yeah baby, that's what I'm talking about, ha ha.
Yeah baby, now we're talking.
Never thought I'd get to drive a genuine A9X Torana or Monaro, or GT or whatever.
Such an iconic car (every time almost)
What a beast."
Not a bad show, knows his stuff but he really needs to change his repertoire.

I love the show. We get to see both sides of Aussie muscle and it's not scripted like Top Gear. Everytime this guy gets his hands on a classic he doesn't show any bias and is usually excited as a little fat kid walking into KFC for the first time. I saw that coupe at Valley Ford a couple of months back, it truly is a beautiful car.

I've seen some of the episodes, but I never remember when its on so I'm not sure how many I have missed

The first one I saw he got the chance to drive a 600+hp XT GT.

I don't mind his style of interviewing and his same one-liners.
Much better than the fabricated rubbish you get everywhere else.
He's just a car guy.
And a clever one by the looks........ I know, I'll do a TV show where I get to drive one of the cars from someone elses collection!
He was doing a different show previously, even more budget restricted, but can't recall the name of it.

Like the show because of the cars. Not a fan of Glen but still better then the reality show rubbish. I watched it on Ch31, then on Ch7's shopping channel when it was on and now on Go.

The first 2 seasons of Man and Machine was originally on 4ME and is now being repeated on GO.

Some nice cars on show and I guess Glenn Everitt could be a bit better scripted but I can live with it as I watch it for the cars and not the presenter.

I think Glen & the show is great, he epitomises passion for Aussie built muscle car's & he's a true enthusiast himself. Ive been watching him for a while now, i dont get sick of his one liner's - his whoop's & whoa's when he's putting a vehicle through it's paces certainly makes up for it for me! I hope his show goes from strength to strength & gets more popular with the wider veiwing community.

cheer's, Maka

I think its a good show and it gives the younger generation a chance to see what our old Muscle cars were like and Glen is obviously having a ball doing the show and he gets paid for it

Yeah, I saw the last part of the last segment - what a beast!

When I first saw the show, the host Glenn really annoyed me at first with his over-enthusiasm and silly one-liners (refer to jaydee's post above). However after seeing a few episodes he has really grown on me and I really like his genuine enthusiasm and appreciation towards the cars he drives (particularly muscle cars). He drove replica GTR XU1 Torana in an earlier episode and had a similar reaction to the XA GT.

Car Chasers is also pretty good, a US buy-fix-sell show on 7mate Wed 10 pm - 11 pm.

Seen two episodes so far and I quite like it. Better than some of the US shows with the same concept.

if you want to watch a really good down the earth show
search for Roadkill on youtube, the do a good episode in Aus and visit Perths powercruise and get given Gups HSV to play with. they also have a spin off show called Hotrod Garage and are part of the motortrend channel so there is a few good shows there but i only watch Roadkill and dirt everyday.

some shows used to be good but now are over produced like Fast'N'Loud, Missfit Garage, Restoration Garage, Weld'R'Up......
